Problem Definition
Teams rely on analytics data in their Confluence instances to have accurate historical data, however, the data can be lost if the AO_7B47A5_EVENT is truncated or teams are unaware they've hit their maximum entries. It might be some time before teams realize historical data has been lost and their only option is to accumulate new data.
Suggested Resolution
To ensure the Analytics data in Confluence is reliable, we should provide an option to:
- Restore previous analytics data from a backup
- And merge the previous data with the current data
- i.e. select importing from a certain date onward
