Copying and pasting text with strikethrough formatting from an external document does not preserve the strikethrough style when pasted into the Confluence editor.

      Issue Summary

      Copying and pasting text with strikethrough formatting from an external document does not preserve the strikethrough style when pasted into the Confluence editor.

      This is reproducible on Data Center: yes

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Create a .doc file in an editor like Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
      • Add some text and apply strikethrough formatting.
      • Copy and paste strikethrough text into a new page in Confluence Data Center.

      Expected Results

      The strikethrough is preserved.

      Actual Results

      Strikethrough formatting is not applied in the Confluence editor when copied, even though there is strikethrough formatting available. Other formatting is preserved (Italic, underline, etc).

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
