      After having just accidentally closed the window after typing for 2 hours, autosave is a feature I would love to see in a future release.

      Yes, people can hit Add/Update but then their further edits are marked as revisions to that. If I clicked before I was done, subscribers would have received my page in an incomplete state.

      Autosave could be implemented with a Javascript timer that posts the current text box to a scrap area that each user has. It could be a user preference as to when that scrap area is purged. But if my text box had posted to that area, I could just go there and paste that back into the page I prematurely closed.
