Issue Summary

In Confluence DataCenter, when editing a page and dragging to select text, the selected area does not correspond to the highlighted portion. This issue only occurs in the edit screen and does not affect the display screen. The problem arises after applying the storage format of an attached file.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Access Confluence DataCenter and open a page where you have editing permissions.
2. Click the edit button to enter edit mode.
3. Apply the storage format attached to this ticket to the page.
4. In the edit screen, drag to select any text.
5. Observe the highlighted portion of the text.

Expected Results

The text area selected by dragging should be accurately highlighted.

Actual Results

The highlighted area differs from the portion selected by dragging.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
