Issue Summary
When using the date picker, the format correctly matches the date lozenge settings based on the user profile's language setting but, upon publishing, the incorrect format is displayed. After publishing, editing the page no longer shows the proper format.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Notes
Tested environments:
Windows Server 2022, Windows 10: Chrome, Edge, Bundled JRE
macOS 14.4.1: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, JDK 11
Steps to Reproduce
- As a user, set your Language in your Confluence profile to your desired region
- Click on Profile Picture > Settings > Edit > Set Language to English (US)
- Create or edit a page
- Add a date macro
- Publish the page
Expected Results
The date lozenge / date picker shows the same format as the editor.
i.e. For English (US) MMM DD, YYYY
Actual Results
The date lozenge is now formatted as DD MM YYYY and editing the page again shows the new format.
Workaround
There is currently no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
