Issue Summary
Space reindex on Confluence instance exhibiting index lag will skip processing some journal entries post completion.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure there is a good index lag as a part of incremental indexing under Confluence.
- Trigger space reindex for any space.
Expected Results
Post space reindex completion, all the respective entries under the journalentries are picked and processed.
Actual Results
Post space reindex completion, all the index lag will become zero and Confluence would have skipped lots of journalentries which ideally it should have processed.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
- is caused by
-
CONFSERVER-57681 Site reindex should reset journal entry pointer upon successful completion to prevent the reindex run after each restart when the journal entry queue is empty
