Issue Summary
After changing the title of a page with many incoming links, saving is very slow.
By my test it takes over 1 minute, if there 1000 pages have links to the page.
By the report from customer, it will take over 4 mins to get page saved. Especially, when timeout happens, it is hard for customer to know if the page saved or not.
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes)
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a target page with title of (Editing Title Test)
- Using script create 1000 pages , each of them contains page to the target page
- Change the title of the target page ( Title Test >> Editing Title Test A)
- Click 'Update' to save the page
Expected Results
The target page should be saved soon, without performance problem
Actual Results
Saving process is very slow. By my test it takes over 1 minute.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
