Issue Summary
Many caches do not appear when you run Confluence as standalone (single node data center without clustering). This seems to impact things like page tree load time in some customer installations.
In Confluence 7.19.21, all of these caches are visible in both standalone and clustered setups.
In Confluence 8.5.8, these caches are only visible in a clustered setup.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Run Confluence 8.5.8 in a Standalone setup
- Check the Cache Management admin page and notice that caches like "Content Objects" do not appear
- If you switch the instance to single node clustered and restart, you will see those other caches in Cache Management
Expected Results
All of the caches are visible in Cache Management.
Actual Results
Some caches are not visible (eg, Content Objects).
Workaround
Switch the instance to a single node clustered setup.
