Problem

The Custom Space PDF export feature starts converting all pages in a large space (10,000+ pages) instead of only the specified pages when a page near the bottom of the page tree is selected for export.

Environment

• Confluence DC

Steps to Reproduce

1. Login Confluence as Admin/Space Admin
2. Create a space with more than 10000 pages.
   • Issue can't be reproduced if the pages are less than 10000 in the space
3. Navigate to Space Tool > Content Tools > Export
4. In Export formats select PDF then click Next button
5. Select Custom Export then Choose pages to export
6. Make sure you have selected pages from the bottom of the page tree, then click Export button at the bottom of the page

Expected Results

Confluence only converts the selected number of pages

Actual Results

Confluence starts converting all pages in the space

Workaround

Option 1

1. Create a new space
2. Copy the selected pages to this space
3. Start exporting

Option 2

Place the selected pages at the top of the page tree before initiating the export.
