Type:
Bug
-
Resolution: Fixed
-
Priority:
Low
-
Affects Version/s: 2.5.1, 2.6.0
-
Component/s: None
To reproduce:
- Perform an edit on a page and supply a version comment.
- View this page's version history.
- Select a version before the recent edit and revert the page to this version.
Confluence will create a new version of the page with the contents of the version you have just reverted to.
The new page will incorrectly have the version comment from the most recent edit.
The correct behavior would be either:
- a generated comment ("Page Reverted from Version X")
- no comment at all
- a user entered comment as part of the revert
