h3. Summary
After migrating from Server to Cloud, the time is showing differently in "Page History" tab due to the JVM timezone. This is similar issue as in Jira: h3. Environment * Server to Cloud migration h3. Steps to Reproduce # In Confluence Server, make sure the user timezone is not set / has been set to other than UTC # Perform a space export # Import the backup into Confluence Cloud # Compare the "Published" time in Page History between Server and Cloud h3. Expected Results The time is showing the same as Confluence Server h3. Actual Results The time is showing 8 hours late (taking UTC+8 as the example) !screenshot2.jpg|thumbnail! h3. Notes If -Duser.timezone is not set, it will take the system timezone. h3.Workaround *Please reach out to Atlassian Support to enable a fix on your site.* {panel:title=This worked on only newly created content|borderStyle=solid|borderColor=#3C78B5|titleBGColor=#3C78B5|bgColor=#E7F4FA} Set the user.timezone to UTC # Under {{<installation-directory>/bin/}} # Edit *setenv.sh* # Add the timezone property: {code}CATALINA_OPTS="-Duser.timezone=UTC ${CATALINA_OPTS}"{code} {panel} |
