      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Download a plugin installation file (preferably larger than 40 MB)

      3. Open a new browser tab for the Confluence Homepage (tab B)

        • In our case, we have used draw.io Diagrams & Whiteboards, and Gliffy Diagrams for Confluence to reproduce the behavior.

      5. While uploading/installing the plugin, switch to tab B and refresh the page (Ctrl + Shift + R   - Reload the current page, ignoring cached content) multiple times
      6. Once the installation is done, check the sidebar, login page, etc

We are on 8.6.2 and getting the problem, do you mean revert back to 8.5.5?  or go to 8.8.0 ?

A fix for this issue is available in Confluence Server and Data Center 8.5.5.

I tried to follow the above steps but I could not reproduce the issue under my staging environment. Is there any other criteria, like more than 1 node?

            Hi ,

Even if we just added new license key in our ScriptRunner plugin in Confluence-8.5.4 , still we stared to face the same issue. This is 2nd time consecutive we faced this issue. Enabling and Disabling Safe Mode help us to fix this issue

But wanted to understand why just applying license in Confluence , started to cause this issue ?

Thanks to investigate further on this bug because ideally this should not happen.

            Regards,

            brijesh

            Makareswar Rout added a comment - - edited I had a case with support :   https://support.atlassian.com/requests/PS-141831/

We have this issue since we upgrade to confluence 8.5.x (LTS)

It happens every time we reboot the server.

(Or when upgrading specific plugins - our case draw.io)

As workaround we disable/enable a plugin or restart the confluence service.
