Issue Summary
The navigation between toolbar & editor is inefficient for keyboard & screen reader users.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to Confluence
- Edit a page.
- Navigate to editor.
- Observe that the navigation between editor & toolbar is inefficient.
Actual Results
The keyboard & screen reader users has to press tab & shift+tab keys in order to navigate between editor & toolbar elements. There is no shortcuts to jump between the sections. This makes the navigation time consuming & inefficient for keyboard & screen reader users.
Expected Results
The navigation between toolbar & editor should be efficient & easy. Provided a simple keyboard shortcut for users to quickly jump between the sections.
Note: The buttons represent a classic toolbar, which is normally navigated with the arrow keys. The ability to focus elements is not a violation, but a toolbar would allow for more efficient navigation.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
