      Issue Summary

When a Page is deleted on a version before 7.14 and still in the trash, then you upgrade Confluence to 7.14 or higher (8.4.1 and 8.5.1 were tested), you can see the pages deleted previously from the older version; however, with no delete date.
This can cause the retention rules set to automatically purge the trash to not be accurate.

This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page on any version before 7.14 and then delete it.
      2. Upgrade Confluence to a new version.
      3. Check the trash in the Space in which you deleted the page.
      4. You'll find the delete date missing.

      Expected Results

According to the Delete or Restore a Page documentation, last paragraph, the following is mentioned:

Deletion dates will not be accurate for any items deleted before Confluence 7.14. This is because we did not store this data in earlier Confluence versions. The date displayed in the trash page is the date your site was first upgraded to Confluence 7.14 or later. Anything deleted after this date has an accurate deletion date.

So, the delete date should be the upgrade date.

      Actual Results

      No delete date. Empty field.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
