Excerpt macro now rendered with HTML paragraph tag

      Hello,

      after updating Confluence to version 2.5.6 (formerly we used 2.5.1), we noticed that the excerpt macro seems to be rendered with an initial HTML paragraph '<p>' tag. This is different to our formerly used version.

      Finally, this has the effect that the wiki code 'h3. Text

      {excerpt}Some information{excerpt}

      ' is now split in two lines – the headline 'text' and the paragraph containing the excerpt information. Confluence 2.5.1 rendered the code as one head line only.

      Is it possible to fix this again?
