Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to a space and press the Create button to create a new draft page
- When on the editor for the draft page, press Create again, taking you to another new page (Do not publish the first page).
- Give it a title and a body, and press publish.
Expected Results
Either:
Do not allow users to create a new page off of an unpublished draft (Maybe hide the "Create" button while editing an unpublished draft)
OR
Allow users to publish the second page, and it appears in the page tree, and has an adequate parent page listed in the page information.
Actual Results
The second page is published, and does not appear in the page tree, and its parent page section of page information appears blank. (Making it difficult to find without going to recent pages or browser history).
The breadcrumbs of the page appear to show that the parent of the parent, is actually the parent of the child page, but this is not the case.
The Id and link to the parent draft page is actually in the source of the page, but nothing is rendered, likely because it is a draft.
Workaround
You can fix the issue by using the Move page feature, and moving the child page to a new parent that is published.
OR
You can publish the parent page, which will fix the page tree, rendering both pages, and also will fill the correct information in the parent page section in Page Information.
