Issue Summary

When adding or editing a link which text has hidden html or characters the link text is not able to be edited, and is read only. This can happen for example when searching for a keyword in Gmail and copying the link while Gmail is highlighting it

This is reproducible on Data Center: yes

Steps to Reproduce

1. Search for a keyword that is present in a link in Gmail (example, zoom)
2. Copy the link while the keyword is highlighted in the link
3. Paste it into the editor and try editing the link text
