Issue Summary
The color schemes provided by Confluence should be WCAG compliant.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to your own space in Confluence.
- Click on "space tools" button in sidebar & select "Look & Feel" option.
- Click on "Color scheme" link in the navigation.
Actual Results
"Color scheme" in space tools give space owners & admins control over UI color selections but leaves the content owner to decide color choices or to use predefined styles that may or may not meet WCAG 1.4.3 requirements.
Some color combinations would result in the contents of page to have insufficient color contrast & thus making the content inaccessible to users.
Refer to the screen recording to understand how the contents of the header section become inaccessible when user changes the colors.
Note: The issue applies when a user creates a space or has administrative control over a Space that supports Color Scheme selection

Expected Results
The colors inside the color scheme should meet the WCAG color contrast requirements & should have sufficient contrast.
A High Contrast option and/or palettes that are pretested for contrast would help ensure that content owners/admins do not inadvertently make color selections that cause their pages to be inaccessible/noncompliant.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
