Team Calendar does not send reminder email if there are more than one user

Problem

Notification email is not sent, to any user, if more than one user is assigned an event

Environment

Confluence 8.2.2

Steps to Reproduce

*Scenario A *: This Works

1. Create a team calendar event for a specific time
2. Uncheck all day event option
3. The user who created the calendar event will receive a reminder 5 minutes before the event

Scenario B : This does not work

1. Create a team calendar event for a specific time
2. Uncheck all day event option
3. Under who, add multiple users

Expected Results

For scenario B, we would expect reminder mails to be sent to everyone under "who" and also the event creator.

Actual Results

If members are added under "Who" no one receives a reminder. Whereas in Scenario A, at-least the event creator receives a notification. Adding members to who stops notifications to be sent to anyone.
