We need an option in a template to add an attachment while filliing in a template. A nice to have should be that a picture should be displayed below the page, and another attachment should create an automatic link.

[CONFSERVER-8892] Add attachment option in templates

It is not clear to me how 2 products that are basically supposed to do the same thing can be developed so differently. And given the prices that are now charged for the data center versions, it should be almost a matter of course to make this option available here as well.

Same comment as the previous one : functionality available in Confluence Cloud. We are expecting the same for Data Center ! Thanks !

Since this feature was added to Confluence Cloud version, having this in the server version as well will be greatly appreciated.

Just like everyone before me in last 15 years would love to see the function of attach specific file types to confluence templates. Would be super useful. God bless!

We are using a the marco for Tool Tip with a table and graphics representing status on a page template.   Using the macro to create from a page from a template Template  they end up being broken

We need to have a specific document (.docx attachment) completed by our users for each new page created with our template.

We need the ability in Confluence (cloud) to list a project's tickets and include the attachments (or links to the attachments) in confluence.

Please implement for all Jira project types.  That is, conventional and Next-gen projects.

Another 'Unknown Attachment' mark on a template has been found after upgraded to Confluence 7.0.2.

It looks like this ticket has been opened for 11 years! Unfortunately I still need this fix (or feature).

Is there any way to implement this?

My use-case is really simple. Team members have their reports exported from the tool they are using as Excel spreadsheets. I'd like to create a two-step template:

            1. User clicks the Create from template button at the parent page.
            2. First step of the template: request user to upload his Excel files.
            3. Second step: user selects the uploaded file in the Office Excel macro to be displayed.
            4. User adds some comments and saves the page.
