    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

I know there is a 3rd party plugin that reportly does what I'm looking for, however when I installed it, it actually crashed my server and Atlassian support said to contact the author of the plugin for help. I'd prefer that Atlassian create this feature so from the administrator's level, I can prevent audio, video, executable and any other files I choose to block that would run automatically in a browser. A user can simply change the file extension, but a move with a .gif extension won't start playing automatically.

      Thank you.
