When creating a new user in Jira (with a delegated LDAP connection) a password must be input even if the LDAP directory is at the top of the directory order and the actual password for LDAP will get used.

In Jira, there is an option to auto-generate this password.

Suggestion: Add this auto-generation option for passwords within Confluence as well
