Changes to CSS "padding" and "margin" elements (in site-css.vm) apply in Edit > Preview mode but not after saving the page!

      Standalone Confluence instance installed on Windows XP Professional box.
      Problem exists in both Firefox 2.x and IE 7

      Modifications to padding and margin elements of styles are reflected when viewing a page in Edit > Preview format, but not when the page is saved.

      The exact same style sheet is in use in both cases, and it is identical to site-css.vm
