    Description

Create a 'Documentation' theme for Confluence, and ship it with Confluence as one of the available themes.

We would be able to use such a theme for our documentation spaces on CAC. Our customers would also find it useful for their technical documentation spaces. And for other spaces too.

Some ideas for inclusion into such a theme:

      1. Left-hand navigation bar (via pagetree and including search). Expandable/collapsible and also allow users to change the horizontal width.
      2. Page title positioned above page content, rather than above the left-hand nav bar as is currently the case.
      3. Version number prominently displayed on every page.
      4. Also an indication that a particular space is the current (latest) version, or an archive (previous) version of the docs. We could do this via styles (e.g. a different heading colour for archive spaces) or other means.
      5. Doc title (as well as page title) prominent on every page. Configurable. Not necessarily the same as the space name.
      6. Styling to mark the space as a doc space e.g. on CAC to differentiate documentation spaces from discussion spaces.

Many of the above options should be optional. If not specified, should take up no room.

Earlier version of a spec is available internally.
