      v7.18.1

Any macro that collapses (eg. Expand, Code) do not return search results from the standard Confluence search functionality.

I can understand that when you are on a target page with an expand macro that the Browser search wouldn't find it. That makes complete sense.

But the Confluence search never returns information that is located within these collapsable elements/macros either, severly degrading the search functionality. We are constantly needing to reauthor our pages with Expand/Code macros because our user base can't find the information, negating any benefit gained from those macros.

I've seen other requests about "automatically expanding the macros" on page load, or a variation of such requests. This request is not that.

I just would like to put some data in a collapsable macro that will return in a Confluence search. If I put in "UNIQUEid123" in Expand/Code, save it, and search for it using Confluence's search functionality, it will not return any results for "UNIQUEid123," with or without wildcards.

      Thank You.
