- Translate the text for Jira Issues in Jira such as "Tâche" for Task (in French, believe the accent is important as "tache" has a complete different meaning

- Add this to the Jira Icon Mapping in Confluence administration
- Use the Jira Issues macro somewhere (anywhere) in Confluence
You expect to have the icon resolved correctly, but instead you have a link like: http://localhost:8080/pages/$icons.get(%20$item.getChild('type').getValue()%20)
I think this is because the type of the issue is escaped (XML wise) and therefore the 'â' is transformed in â So the relevant icon cannot be found in the mapping that doesn't escape the keys.
