Description
Problem
We had a user reach out that they had some of their team post comments with an image on a page. Some of these images had the same name ("Image.jpg" as an example), and whenever a user would upload a new user with an existing name, even though it was a new comment, a different user, etc., the image was automatically replaced in all locations that used that name with no warning/chance to upload as a new file and no notification that their upload replaced a good number of other images.
Solution
Confluence uses additional information to determine if the attachment is a duplicate. A possible other data point is the file size.
