Issue Summary
Browser Freezes ( Confluence Tab only ) while pressing tab key in a table if the last row is made uneditable as in while the tab is pressed for the second last row where the last row of the table is non editable
This is reproducible on Data Center: (yes) / (no)
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new page and insert a table any size , example (3x4) publish the page
- Edit the Page again, and insert random numbers in the cell
- Click on the last row , right click > inspect
- Now add contenteditable="false" as shown in the screen recording for both the numbers of the last row
- Now, click on the first cell so that the cursor is pointing on the first row
- Now, keep pressing tab key from your keyboard until you reach the second last row
- As you press Tab to move the cursor to the last row ( non editable row ) , you see that the browser ( only the Confluence Tab) freezes completely and nothing can be done.
- Even if the URL is changed to any other url ( example google.com ) still there is no response.
- There is nothing seen in the logs as well for this issue.
- The tab needs to be closed and new tab to be opened to come out from this.
- Similar behaviour is observed while inserting Table Filter macro ( screen recording added )
Expected Results
The page should not freeze completely and should give an message on the screen with the specific error/ exception
Actual Results
The screen ( tab ) completely freezes and the browser tab has to be closed.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
