Backup and Export to XML should write to disk instead of Java Heap

    Description

      The current Export to XML or Backup functionality write to the Java Heap instead of writing to disk. This is a problem since there are memory limitations (especially on 32-bit systems) preventing us to export everything (we get JavaOutOfMemoryException). Please consider writing this output to disk instead.
