      Currently, the only security option for Confluence Data Center is node authentication with the group name and group password to prevent unauthorized nodes from joining the cluster.

      There is still no encryption on the network level available.

      It can be solved by implementing TLS encryption for the Hazelcast communication according to https://docs.hazelcast.com/imdg/4.2/security/tls-ssl.
