    Description

A common complaint/bugbear I'm hearing from our users is that the David Peterson's TOC macro's generated URLs for headings are way way way too long to put in an email (they're often 3-4 lines long).

This is mostly a symptom of people using long headers (not a bad thing). David has informed me that his plugin is just using the anchors that Confluence itself is generating, so I'm entering the ticket here.

It would be great if these anchors were shorter, maybe using a hash of the heading instead of the heading itself. Combining this with a the page's TinyURL would make for nice compact URLs which could be sent out.
