Issue Summary
Anonymous users unable to create a page using User Created Templates even when the appropriate permissions and access are granted.
When the Anonymous user goes to the space and click the ellipsis button next to Create Button, they can view the Create dialog and the see the name of the Template. But when they click on the Template in the Create Dialog, Confluence redirects to the All updates Page on the Confluence Site.
The problem does not appear in Confluence server version 7.14.0
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
Step-1. Grant the permission for Anonymous Access to use Confluence.
Step-2. Grant the permission for Anonymous Access to the space in Space Permissions so that we have granted View and Add Page to Anonymous users.
Step-3. Create a User Template for that Space.
Step-4. When the Anonymous user goes to the Space with the Template and click the ellipsis button next to Create Button, they can view the Create dialog and the see the name of the Template.
Step-5. When we click on the Template in the Create Dialog, Confluence redirects to the All updates Page on the Confluence Site.
Expected Results
Anonymous user should be able to create a new page via the template.
Actual Results
Page is not create and redirects to the All updates Page on the Confluence Site.
Workaround
Unfortunately there is no workaround at present for the affected Confluence versions.
