Problem

Whilst accessing the Space Permissions menu on a space that contains a lot of Individual Permissions (or Permissions at large), the UI can become unresponsive and the Save All operation to fail in some instances when editing the permissions.

Suggested Solution

• Improve the way the Space Permissions are loaded and displayed in the UI
  • For example limiting the number of individual permissions displayed to a fixed amount of entries and proposing to expand the results to display the results chunk by chunk.

Why This Is Important

• It is overall not a great administration experience to have to wait for the Space Permissions page to load or for the Save All operations to fail

Workaround

• It has been noticed the performance has been better in Chrome than in Edge for Confluence version such as 7.13
• Reorganizing the users in groups sharing similar permissions can also help reduce the individual permissions extensive usage in the Space Admin menu
