Description
Issue Summary
When performing the Restore from Backup during the initial Confluence installation, the setup screen advises to place the XML Backup into the <Shared Home>/restore.
However, it doesn't show any files in the <Shared Home>/restore as it's looking in the <Local Home>/restore.
This is reproducible on Data Center: Yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Install a fresh Confluence instance
- Apply a Confluence Data Center license
- When prompted for Non-Clustrered or Clustered - choose Clustered
- Follow the remaining prompts until you reach the Load Content screen
- Choose Restore from Backup
- The screen will advise to place the XML backup into <Shared Home>/restore
- Place your XML Backup into the <Shared Home>/restore and reload the page
Expected Results
The screen will pick up and list the XML backup from the <Shared Home>/restore in the bottom box.
Actual Results
The screen does not pick up and list the XML backup from the <Shared Home>/restore in the bottom box.
Only when you put the XML Backup into the <Local Home>/restore, then the XML backup file is picked up.
Workaround
During the initial install of a Confluence Clustered DC installation, place the XML backup in the <Local Home>/restore and reloading the setup dialog should pick up the file.
If you are doing a Restore after Confluence DC is already up and running through Confluence Administration » General Configuration » Backup and Restore screen - the correct location that the dialog is showing and reading the XML backup from is the <Shared Home>/restore.
