Issue Summary
Using Confluence Server for Slack (Official) app and integrating it with Slack, after following the steps outlined by the Use Confluence and Slack together page, posting in a channel or direct messaging a Confluence URL does not unfurl.
- When the integration is set up as 'limited', posting a Confluence link will show the message '
In order to see a preview of your blogs and pages, please confirm your account in Confluence.' in Slack. But after confirming an account, no preview is shown. - Based on the screenshot provided by the customer, the Slack integration is requesting permission and has permission to show previews, but it does not.
There is however, no mention of showing message previews as a feature in the documentation for the integration. It's possible that this is not an intended feature for the Slack integration, but if that is the case then the messaging given to the user by the integration needs to be changed.
This is reproducible on Data Center: yes
Steps to Reproduce
- Install the Confluence Server for Slack app
- Connect the Confluence Server for Slack app to my Confluence site
- Grant Permissions to Confluence App on Slack
- Set up a space to post notifications into Slack
- Post a Confluence URL on integrated Slack channel
Expected Results
URL unfurls and a preview is shown.
Actual Results
No action. There's no preview.
