nder IExplorer, Rich Text Editor scrolls to top when cursor over other editor tabs

    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Duplicate
    • Priority: Low
    • None
    • Affects Version/s: 2.3.1
    • Component/s: None

      While editing under Internet Explorer in the Rich Text Editor, the editing screen scrolls to its first line as soon as the cursor passes over (without clicking) the other editor tabs, i.e. Wiki Markup and 'Preview' tabs.

      In the screen prints attached:

      • "IExplorer Rich Text BEFORE.png" shows the Rich Text screen with the cursor (little hand) over edit buttons – then displaying is normal, and shows the portion of the page where the text cursor was last found
      • "IExplorer Rich Text AFTER.png" shows what happens when the cursor (little hand) travels over an edit tab (here, the Wiki Markup tab) – we see the text scrolled up to " {column:width=95%}

        ", which is Line 1

      (see CSP-6709 for images)

      The said behaviour does NOT occur:

      • when editing in the Wiki Markup Editor
      • when editing with Mozilla Firefox
      • when the cursor passes over other regions of the page

      Among others, the problem was detected under Microsoft Internet Explorer version used is: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
