I'm searching for a way to comment out blocks of wiki-code to disable it for testing and debugging purposes

For a single line this works with '\' although it just disables the function of a macro and creates a new line of output, this is somehow like the behaviour of '
' in C++. I'd rather have something that completly disables this line of code

Also something like the '/' and '/' in C might be usefull. It would give the opportunity to quickly let parts of documents disappear and then reappear.
