    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

For the page restrictions dialog, when there are restrictions, by default the page author is added automatically to the restrictions list and it shows the "Has no access" and "Can view and edit" hints. This makes it clear to the user what behaviour to expect.

However for TC, the restriction dialog is hard to understand. Some users expect the list to be a block/disallow list and it's harder to figure out how to restrict everyone else.

Ideally the TC restrictions dialog should behave consistently with the page restrictions dialog.

            • When we add no users in the view restrictions, then all the users can view the calendar without any issues
            • When we add no users in the view restrictions, add user1 to the edit restriction, then user1 will be able to edit the calendar without any issues
            • However, when you add user2, and user3 to the view restrictions and add user1 to the edit restriction, Only user2 and user3 are able to view the page, as user1 does not have the view permissions on the calendar user1 is not able to see or edit the calendar. This is confusing.....
