      Issue Summary

      Table of Contents macro causes editor to scroll back to the top when editing a page instead of maintaining scroll position from when viewing page

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install a fresh Confluence
      2. Create a page with all the criteria below:
      3. Publish the page
      4. While in View Mode, scroll down the page
      5. Press "E" to enter Edit Mode

      Expected Results

      Editor should load in the same position of the page when it was being viewed.

      Actual Results

      Editor loads from the top of the page, even if the page was lower before Edit hotkey was pressed.

      Information

      • The issue can be replicated on both Chrome and Firefox
      • Without the Table of Content macro, the issue is not replicable

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
