Fix search experience on "Recently visited" page

XMLWordPrintable

    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Current result

Vision impaired users have problems identifying search forms and search results on multiple pages.

      Recently visited https://bulldogwiki.internal.atlassian.com/wiki/#recently-viewed

      Expected result

Users can quickly reach the search form and on searching, they understand that the search has been performed and how many results they got back.

      How to achieve that result

      • add role=search for forms that contain search on pages
      • add role=status for "Displaying results..." text for AT to announce that results of the search are displayed on a page
        • if this text is missing, add it after consulting rpit@atlassian.com and 3d67fbf19c8a
        • take an example from other pages where that text is available
        • consider making the text H2 with the current styling (14px grayish color)
      • add a way to clear the filter quickly, e.g. Add a "Clear the filter" link at the end of "Displaying..."
