Issue Summary
Confluence allows you to insert Jira issue dates (using default or custom fields) into the Team Calendar by creating an event.
However, if your custom field is configured with a context restricted to a project along with global context type, custom field does not appear in TC events when choosing a different project.
- Environment Details:
- Confluence 7.12.5
- Jira 8.13.10
- Team Calendar 7.1.4
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an Applink between Jira and Confluence.
- Create two Sample Project in Jira: Project-Sample and Project- My Project
- Create a Custom field in Jira (Eg: Start Date)
- Add an additional Context to Start Date and add project-My Project to it
- Add Start Date custom field to Create Issue Screen of Project-Sample
- Try creating an Issue from Jira UI under Project-Sample and could see the 'Start Date' field in Jira UI create Screen

- In Confluence, create a calendar and try to create an event of type "Jira Issue Dates".
- Select Project- Sample
- Start Date custom field is not shown in UI

Expected Results
The custom field Start Date should show up when creating Jira Issues Dates event in TC.
Actual Results
The custom field Start Date does not show up when creating Jira Issues Dates event in TC.
Workaround
- Add the context to custom field (Start Date) explicitly to Project-Sample for it populate in TC events in Confluence.
