    Description

      Problem Definition

As of now there are two Saved for later page/tab in Confluence; one in the Confluence Dashboard (URL <Confluence-Base-URL>/#starred), and another in the Saved for later tab on User's Profile page ({{<Confluence-Base-URL>/users/viewmyfavourites.action).

The one on Confluence Dashboard is being sorted based on the date and time where the page is added to the Saved for later list (starred); newest to oldest.
Whilst, the one on the User's Profile page is being sorted based on the pages' pageID (contentid value in the CONTENT table).

      Suggested Solution

To have both pages to have the same sorting mechanism to avoid any confusion.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

      Information

      • Favorite Pages Macro is currently having the same sorting method as viewmyfavourites.action which should also be standardized
      • This behaviour change started from Confluence 7.9.0
