NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
It would be nice to be able to have the Mail Archiver optionally leave the mail on the mail server. Or, lacking that ability, it would be useful if Confluence did NOT automatically download mail from a mail server into the Confluence archive but only by command of the user with the warning that the mail would be permanently removed from the server.
Either way, folks could continue to use their regular mail applications and only use Confluence as the Archiver for the mail.
