There is a problem with the add page redraw functionality in Confluence. He tried to save the page and he omitted to put in a page name (see screenshot 1). It is not surprising because these is no 'Title' or 'Location' supporting text. He presumably then thought the page was saved as there was no error message. I mimicked his actions only to find no supporting text or errors appearing until I tried to highlight the blank areas around the title field. See attachment 2 for this. The 'error' and 'title', 'location' fields are not visible unless you try and highlight the blank space.
