Description
Problem
The Jira Issue collection cannot be embedded on a Confluence Page using the HTML Macro.
Environment
- Tested on Confluence 7.13.0 with Jira running 8.16.1 for the Jira Issue Collector
Steps to Reproduce
- On the Jira side
- Create a new Project
- Go to Project > Settings and create a new Jira Issue collector
- Copy/Paste the output code as per image attached
- On the Confluence side
- Make sure to enable HTML Macro from > Manage apps > System Plugins
- Create a new Confluence page and add an HTML Macro onto it.
- Copy the code coming from the Jira issue collector and save/publish the page.
Expected Results
- The Jira issue collector feedback button should be rendered properly with the HTML Macro
Actual Results
- Nothing is rendered from the HTML Macro . Interestingly, while in preview mode the HTML content is shown.
Workaround
Changing the trigger style in Jira from Prominent to other from the list for the issue collector configuration page will fix the issue.
