All text effects seems to work correctly when used around the link text of a link (e.g. [*bold link*|Home]) except the italic effect (e.g. [_italic link_|Home]). In HTML the underscores are rendered while the link text isn't italic.

If however the italic effect is only used on part of the link text it all works. E.g. [Try _this_ link|Home].
