Unable to disable quick search in Confluence. We need a feature to disable "[~" search

      Problem

      Unable to disable quick search in Confluence. We need a feature to disable "[~" search

      Suggested Solution

      We need a configuration at the application level or a fix at the css level to disable the quick search.

      Why This Is Important

      In the current scenario, it is feasible for an anonymous user to use the above short-cut and view the users who have access to Confluence. While the search can be disabled at the dashboard level, while editing pages, it is still possible to use the shortcut and bring the search box.

      Workaround

      There is currently no workaround for this pattern.

            Hello,

             

            as the initiator of this feature request I would like to add the point of view of our security team.

             

            This feature should be implemented because the seperation of users in the mentioning should be a privacy be design feature and violted the guidelines of GDPR.

            Hello,

            beside the option to see the user which have access to confluence by an anonymous user we have the scenario that host confluence spaces for different customers and that the user from this spaces shouldn't see/known each other so that they have no option to take conclusions of other customers of the company
