Problem Definition

If a page takes a while to process the request to delete an attachment, the menu below keeps on being displayed in the UI until the attachment is deleted:

This can cause problems as a user understanding that the deletion was not triggered and attempting to either delete again or cancel the new request (both actions will lead to the attachment being deleted due to the first request that is still loading).

Suggested Solution

Either remove the menu from the UI after the option was chosen or provide an indication that the deletion is happening.

Why this is important

This change would help in identifying what is the status of the request.

Notes

If you click the OK button of the menu a second time, triggering a second deletion attempt, you'll receive a You are not permitted to perform this operation error message.
