Problem
In Confluence, it is currently not possible to bulk edit some attachment properties such as the filenames of the attachments.
Suggested Solution
Add a function that would allow to find and replace regular expressions in attachments filenames for instance.
Why This Is Important
As an end-user or Confluence administrator, I want to be able to rename attachments in my Confluence site in bulk in order to help streamline some of my operations on my attachments. Indeed, sometimes attachments need to be updated in order to give them a more meaningful logic in filenames and/or sometimes we also need to remove the reference or a special characters in the filenames.
Workaround
Currently, we have to go in the properties of each attachment one by one to edit them.
