I don't really know. Confluence is running at a different site, and I'm not an admin.
As I said, I'm not an admin, so I don't have access to the most powerful user management tools. But I did create a space, and I want to manage user privileges there. On the Space Admin page, in the Individual Users section, I click the little magnifying glass next to "Users to Add". This brings up Users Search. I can't remember any of the specific characteristics (username, name, email) for the person I'm thinking of. So I put in the name of the appropriate group in "Members of group:". This gives me a list, but it's a very long list, at least seven pages. The first page only has the letters A through C. When I click the link for page 2 or "Next>>", it sends me to Users Search with some of the blanks filled in: Username is ${usernameTerm}, Full name is ${fullnameTerm}, and Email is {$emailTerm}. There is no list of users. This isn't very helpful.
While I have your attention, I would suggest some features. It would be good if the Users Search tool could search for partial matches. For instance, if I only know the person's last name or the domain part of the email address. It would also be nice if the list could be made alphabetical by last name, rather than userid. I see that some of the full names are not really complete, so it would be good to require people to have both a first name and a last name. (For instance, user "arinks" has Full name "arin".)
